Paris, abstract

Here, as promised is the post in english (well at least i try) for all the anglo speakers (is that correct?). As you might have guessed from the pictures under, me and my girl (Mariana, remember her?), ended up going to Paris for holidays. We stayed there for 7 days, i.e. a week...
Interesting facts about the trip:

1. the car that was supposed to take us to paris, broke down 30mins before we got there.
2. most buildings in Paris are nice, see the pictures. The city overall is clean but there are exceptions.
   
3. compared to Barcelona musseums are less expensive there.
1. Louvre and d'Orsay were the musseums i went to, and they were outstanding.
   
4. girls in Paris are not as hot as in Barcelona (not that i was looking! :D).
5. bakeries, bars and discos are closed during august due to holydays.
   
6. the south of France is nicer than the north, or better put, the road we took to go to Paris from BCN was nicer than the one we took to go to Caen.
1. lots of vineyards in the south.
2. lots of castles and war related stuff in the north.
   
7. metro compared to the one here in BCN was comparable, more lines, smaller walks to commute to different lines, but it was overprized! and the smell was so disgusting!
8. frenchies are friendly, they wont say "i´m sorry" continuosly as canucks do, but they are friendly. The problem is how to comunicate with them when you dont speak french, but thats a different story.
9. trip back to Spain was in train, wasnt cheaper than sharing gas, but bearable.
   

We met with Raja and Elodie, pictures can be seen in a web album here. We met once for beers and other time for sheesha... good times, but nothing to do with what "Cafe Med" used to be. Leffe was the beer of choice, followed by edelweiss and adelscot.
